Lots of peoples.

It is amazing how big the ciy is really, the soo is 18,000 people, Kumamoto is 600,000. I can see a tower of a building that was close to my housea in this picture, If you tihink you can find it it is the tallest building and the fartherst away. it is to the left of the center of the eright half of the picture. Good luck.

curently, they are reconstructing a new building on the castle grounds. I suppose you can't say new in this case.... It was burnt down with the rest of the castle during the Meji Restoration or WWII, I forget which.

see that hill over there, the big on in the picture, we will be going there next.

Yes, I am sticking my head out a smal window at the top of kumamoto castle...

Dumbass

Yea, I saved all my pictures to a CD and sent them to America.

Then I deleted all the stuff from the computer I burned. becasue it wasn't on the main drive of this computer, they were not sent to the recycle bin and now that I go to update the site, I don't have any pictures to upload! I'll take some pictures here to tide us over untill I can continure were we left off in 3 monthes. the CD was in a box sent Via ship.

===Udpdate===
I forgot to put the CD in the box... Luckey! I can still update.

From the very top of the castle, people look like ants. There is a great veiw of everythen from this high vantage spot.

This was a rifle taht was abalable during the time that samurai were housed here. there are also westeren style swords.

This is what teh samurai and archers were able to see while held up in the castle.

Inside the castle is a museam now, THere is a model of what the city looked like a long time ago before there were cars and stuff. a nifty model thing

Kumamoto city is fairly good sized, It is about 600,000 people.
