In reality this thing is huge!the wheels are as tallas I am. A samurai or rich person sits inside and his servents will take him where he needs to go. I think this is more for ceimoneys though.

An Old Japanese compass. Tht si sreally old writting though, no one can read it. It is obvious what the meant butif just written on paper a Japanese can't read them.

there is a finished[Almost] tatami mat and what was used to make it. Interesting stuff I tell you. I like tatami, its not soft but not hard and it is Tatami. You can do drop kicks and only hurt the other person on this stuff.

this machine was used to make tatami mats a long time ago.... this place is a museam in beppu, Oita. I thought this thing was interesting.

This was the mask and helmet the samurai wore a long time ago. tahte entire armor is about 5 feet tall.... about average for men back then. The mask is kinda scray in person.

Here is a modle of beppu a couple hundered hears ago. Beppu is the city we stayed in while at the resort. THere are a ton of onsens in beppu, but we went to none of them. Beppu is VERY famous for many weird onsens.

The Pacific Ocean.

This was our resort house. It had about 10 rooms in it and they were all Japanese style. A nice place accually. There was all kinds of things on the resort to do. Nothing to do in the rain though, and it rained that weekend.

The other 2 girls I was with tooka picture of this bridge... I thought I should too, they were taking so long! The bridge is condemed right now.

Here is a group photo of us 5 Americans and one frech girl. we make up the r exchange students for district 2720. That is the real pacific Ocean behind us... yes, the real one, not that fake pacific Ocean... ;P

After teh Aquarium, I headed accoss teh streat to the monkey village... I wanted to come here a long time ago but couln'd but this time I got luckey and saw monkeys, lots of monkeys. The fences were ther wo keep people out but the monkeys are given free range to the place. kinda scary accually. This picture is about half the monkeys that were visable.

The penguin's home is here. they must have ben tierd after all that walking around and not having any knees to help them.
